Geocache Description:

A cache near the Buck Hill Management Area Trails, and not too far off of the North-South Trail. A bit north of the cache at Rattlesnake Ridge.

This cache will require a significant amount of bushwhacking. Although I've only come from the North South Trail side, I believe it may be easier to bushwhack from some of the trails at Buck Hill Management. The reason for its name is that the first time I found this location with my friend (about a year ago maybe), we found a small tarp with some handwarmers nestled into the rocks. And so my friend and I joked that the man couldn't have survived the harsh New England winter, and must have perished here. Hence the name: Dead Man's Respite. We have kind of a cynical sense of humor, but that's besides the point.
The cache itself is in this very rocky outcropping near a small pond, right where the "Dead Man" must have slept (or at least sat for while), so look for what  was described above. Congrats to Fuff179 on the FTF
