The cache is hidden around Dadao circular crossing.
The crossing is at Nanjing west road 南京西路 & Chongqing north road 重慶北路. Here was the crossing of big road and railroad, so many people passed by, and a market was naturally born. Here, many Taiwanese special foods such as Rou Yuan 肉圓 (rice & meat pudding with sauce) and Ru Rou Fan 魯肉飯 (ground meat rice) are developed.
Around 1943, Japanese imperial government governing Taiwan built a big bomb shelter & fire preventing pond there. After WWII, the place had changed to a big round-shaped market building. Around 1990s, twice big fire occured and new commercial zone appeared around Taipei station, so the market declined.
This new market building had built on May 2008. Recreated food stands, souvenir shops, local product shops are inside. Also around there, still we can enjoy historical taste in restaurants, food stand & night markets 夜市, along Chongqing north road & Ningxia road 寧夏路.
The cache container is a PET bottle cap (Osaka style micro).
