A hard to reach cache at the bottom of Ghar Mirdum. This requires abseiling and climbing to get down and back up.
Please do not attempt alone or without the correct safety equipment and knowledge.
Cache is located at the very bottom of the cave approximately 30 metres down. To get down and back up you will require to abseil down three points in the cave. Also note that we used a rope ladder to get back out of the bottom chamber, as climbing it would have been very difficult.
The co-ordinates given are of the cave entrance. To get there you will need to climb/abseil down around 4 metres if approaching from the road. The best location for this is from an old concrete overhang with exposed metal bars. From there its a short 15-30 metre walk to the cave entrance underneath a large boulder. Once inside the cave there is only one passageway, just keep heading forward and downwards.
Chache is hidden in the large chamber at the bottom that requireas an abseil to enter. Hidden under some rocks with an arrow pointing towards it. Cache is a lunchbox containing a logbook.
