The cache is under a granite rock along the fence in the back alley. Its at the end of a strip of grass with shrub's along a wooden fence on the west end of the line of shrubs. The cache is here so its easy for my kids that have gotten into geo-caching to check the log and see who has been by but close to down town where all the tourists hangout. There is a Dog near that if around tends to scare a lot of people which is why the cache is rated at 2.5.
if you go down the alley between whitemen and the main highway 2 when you get to the point when your behind the Leavenworth city staging area (doubles as a parking lot at times) then opposite of that is the wood fence, the line of shrubs and on the west end where the rock is in the middle of a little patch of grass. The cache is under the rock. Keep in mind the neighbors dog will get excited and there could be barking but the dog is harmless. Also please do not smash the cache. Muggle's are not so much the issue as the dog near by, its fenced in but it generally seems to scare people sometimes. we used to get alot of complaints about the dog being scary which is why the cache is rated 2.5 but it is really easy to find.
