Met deze korte multi wandelt u via verschillende waypoints in een klein uurtje door o.a. de straatjes van Medemblik. Vergeet niet tijdens de wandeling af en toe omhoog te kijken.
Medemblik behoort tot de oudste stadjes van West Friesland. In 1289 kreeg Medemblik stadsrechten van graaf Floris V.
Tot 2007 behoorde Medemblik tot de kleinste gemeente van de provincie Noord Holland. Thans is Medemblik een fusiegemeente gevormd door een fusie in 2007 met gemeente Noorder-Koggenland en Wognum, verder uitgebreid door een fusie in 2011 met gemeente Wervershoof en Andijk.
