Mewstone View

This is a lovely cove a little west of the old swimming pool at Wembury point. I have been coming here all my life for swimming, snorkeling, BBQ's etc etc and have seen many changes to the surrounding land which is now managed by the national trust. This is now a regular dog walking route for us when we are not caching in other areas.

Parking can either be at Wembury Beach to the east, Wembury Point car park to the North or Heybrook Bay to the west. Access to the shore is at the old swimming pool approx 300m east of the cache. Then walk around the rocks to the cove.
THIS CACHE IS NOT ACCESSIBLE 1 HOUR EITHER SIDE OF HIGH TIDE
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CLIMB DOWN THE CLIFF ABOVE THE CACHE
Thanks to the National Trust for allowing this cache given they own the land and that it is a designated SSSI (site of special scientific interest) area.
