Obras de Santa Engrácia - Lenda Nacional nº 125
Nota inicial: PEÇO DESCULPA PELA PÉSSIMA CACHE
Contexto:
Diz a lenda que (…) um amante apaixonado por uma noviça obrigada foi acusado do roubo de peças da Igreja de Santa Engrácia. Ele tinha sido visto junto à igreja quando foi visitar a sua amada, quando foi dado conta do desaparecimento das relíquias.
Condenado a ser queimado na Fogueira, no momento que as chamas o envolviam gritou: “Tão certo eu morrer inocente, como as obras desta Igreja nunca mais acabarem”.
O que é facto é que as obras pareciam nunca mais ter fim….
Desde então o povo compara tudo o que parece não ter fim com às obras de Santa Engrácia.
A Variante Faro/Olhão
Ainda era eu pequenino já ouvia falar de uma suposta estrada de, breves quilómetros, que iria ligar a 125 antes de Faro à 125 depois de Faro…. Reduzindo o trânsito na cidade.
Um dia… há alguns anos…. Lá para 2007/2008 a obra ia finalmente arrancar. E arrancou…. E foi-se fazendo…. Fazendo…. Até um antigo cemitério romano com sacos de moedas de ouro foram descobertos no caminho…. Assim foi atrasando… atrasando…. Até que PAROU.
Ups…. Chegou a crise e a OBRA PAROU….
Quem sabe um dia… trânsito possa fluir… até lá… vamos assistindo às filas intermináveis dentro da cidade…. Sem necessidade nenhuma.
A CACHE
Deste local pode observar as obras intermináveis.
Compreendemos que há caches bem melhores…. Mas prometemos que esta cache seja arquivada no dia da inauguração da Bem Dita estrada.
Fica a homenagem a todas as pessoas que diariamente têm tempo de olhar … parados … dentro do carro… no trânsito,… como caramelo longe da criança.

Context:
Legend sais that (...) an in love lover of a forced nun was accused of stealing objects of the Church of Santa Engracia. He had been seen near the church when he went visiting her mistress, when the disappearance of the relics were noticed.

The New Road Faro / Olhão
I was still a little boy, already hearing abaout a supposed short road, which would connect to Nacional Road nº125 before Faro to Nacional Road nº125 after Faro .... Reducing traffic in the city.
One day ... a few years ago .... Toward 2007/2008 the works had finally started. And started .... And going .... Going .... Even an ancient Romans graveyard with bags of gold coins were discovered on the way .... So it went delaying ... delaying ... Until it STOPPED.
Ups .... The crisis arrived and the WORKS STOPPED ....
Maybe one day ... traffic can flow ... until then ... we watch never ending traffic in the city ....
A CACHE

We understand that there are much better caches .... But we promise that this cache will be archived on the opening day of the so hopped road.
