Liquid Sunshine

The other day out in the sunshine
Not a cloud to shade the way
It was balmy when we found it
I still can hear your big Hurrah

We’d been hiking since breakfast
You had led us all the way
But once the rain started pouring
You decided not to play.

Fair weather friends just don’t cut it
If you are caching by my side
Don’t you know this is a rainforest ?
Are the words that I cried.

You can take your little brelly
Your galoshes or your coat
You can wade right through the puddles
Or take something to help you float.

So now we cache in the sunshine
Or on a rainy blustery day
We don’t let the climate stop us
In this caching game we play.
