Geocache Description:

This cache has been born out of my and others experiences of not having a clue that this place existed even after living in Cardiff for a long time and is aimed at celebrating our 4 legged geohounds and making more people aware of this island inhabitants location. It is not on a circular walk but well worth a visit nonetheless, an easy cache & dash with a difference!

This cache has been born out of my and others experiences of not having a clue that this place existed and is aimed at celebrating our 4 legged geohounds and making more people aware of this island inhabitants location.

Please note this Cache is only accessible between 10:30am and 4pm daily (7 days a week apart from Bank Holidays, Christmas day, boxing day and new years day).

Landowner permission has been granted for this cache by CDH manager although no staff have been made aware of cache location.

It is in a well hidden island corner of Cardiff almost completely surrounded by the River Ely, it's great for train spotting if you are that way inclined. Parking is readily available in the car park although the site is generally not that busy with traffic as it is a travelling to destination rather than through.

The Cache is accessible by wheelchair bound cachers and families with pushchairs.

There are cars and pedestrian muggles passing at most times of day so stealth will definitely be required. Please leave the pencil and sharpener for the next cachers and make sure the lid of the tub is put back on as the cache container is not water tight. Thank you!
