Play Ball! Traditional Cache

This cache is hidden on the site of the Cedoux School. My Dad, John Szostak, grew up in Cedoux and attended this school as a little boy.
My Dad had a lifelong love of baseball. I can remember going to games of the Vancouver Mounties when I was a child and watching the Montreal Expos play in Jarry Park in Montreal during the early 1970s before the Big O was built. In later years, my Dad watched every ball game that was shown on television and tracked the scores on his calendar.
In the schoolyard there is an old backstop… and I can imagine my Dad learning to play baseball here with his friends during the Thirties.
My Dad passed away October 2, 2012. This cache is placed in memory of my Dad, whose love for baseball began here so many years ago.
Please replace this cache exactly where you found it. Bring your own writing implement.
