Geocache Description:

A quick cache and dash located on the road bridge crossing the A1 Newark Bypass.

The cache is both buggy and wheelchair friendly, being placed right next to the tarmac footpath.

At over 400 miles long, the A1 is Britain's longest A-road.

This part of the A1 - the Newark bypass - was completed between 1962 and 1964 and is approximately 6.5miles in length.

There are slip roads adjacent to the cache on both the North and South bound A1 carriageways, allowing easy access to the cache for those travelling along the bypass itself.
