Geocache Description:

This cache is located in south Fargo. It is not located on the Rose Creek Golf Course but it has been placed with permission.

To find the location of this cache you will need to know the dates of the following events. The last digit of the year the event happened is the number that needs to be put into the coordinates. N AB° CD.EFG W HIJ° KL.XYZ (as this is a U.S. history I thought it would be fun to toss in XYZ of 1797 and 1798).

A = Lewis and Clark begin their expedition from St. Louis.
B = Declaration of Independence adopted.
C = Presidential election that resulted in a tie between J. Q. Adams and Andrew Jackson.
D = Minnesota becomes a state.
E = War of 1812 started.
F = Uncle Tom's Cabin is published
G = John Roberts becomes Chief Justice
H = Ratification of the 19th Amendment, Women’s Right to Vote.
I = North Dakota granted statehood.
J = Birth of Benjamin Franklin, Boston.
K = Ruling on Brown v. Board of Education, “Separate educational facilities are inherently unequal.” – Earl Warren, May 17.
L = Theodore Roosevelt charges San Jaun Hill with the Rough Riders.
X = Operation Overlord in WW II.
Y = Founding Father George Washington passes away after being bled to cure a severe sore throat.
Z = National Aeronautics and Space Administration established.

There is parking very close to the caches actual location. I spoke to a couple of folks at the business and they don’t mind people using their parking for short periods of time. Please don’t use their parking if you can see activity at the facility.
