We were walking down the trail into the woods to find a place to hide this cache, and we were greeted by a large Barred Owl that was perched high up in a tree. The owl watched us with great interest as we made our way closer to the tree it was resting in, we were all delighted to see this beautiful bird and decided that we were going to hide the cache at this spot. As we hid the cache we must have disturbed the Owl's rest as it flew off to find another perch somewhere closeby. When you get to this location, look up and you just might spot this magnificent bird watching you as you search through the forest.
Parking is available on the side of Nelson road. You are looking for a small/medium size lock-n-lock container that is big enough to hold swag and trackables. There are 4 travel bugs that will be racing to the same goal target for the first 4 finders. *Congratulations to ceebeecee for the FTF!* ****Update**** There is a chopped up piece of wood that contains a note claiming to be stage one of a multi cache,located very close to our cache. This is not the right cache, it is an unlisted cache with a missing second stage. Ignore it and continue searching. Thank you to Fregley and Pinkey for pointing this out to us, hopefully this prevents any future confusion. :)
