EmCache Christmas Bash! Event Cache

It’s that time of year again when we invite you all to Come and join us at Swadlincote Ski Centre in the Alpine
Bar for festive drinks and geochat and the all important annual Emmy Awards!

We will once again be hosting our Christmas Event at the Swadlincote Ski centre this year. Food is available for those who want it at the venue along with a number of outdoor activities details of which can be found on the ski slope web site for those wanting to participate.

This event will be in the Alpine Lodge at the ski slope which is located upstairs and will also play host to the Emcache Emmy awards along with a Christmas raffle for those wanting to take part.

The only access to the room is via a flight of steep stairs and unfortunately it is not wheelchair accessible for that reason I have had to put the terrain rating as 1.5. However, if anyone with access requirements wishes to attend, please drop me a message and I am sure someone will be more than willing to assist people who have difficulties with stairs. People with strollers can always give someone a shout for a helping hand for a lift up the stairs. The toilets are also located on the same level as the room, as is the bar.

The Ski Centre is accessed off Hill Street DE11 8LP. There is ample car parking for all visitors. The sat nav might lose it a little due to recent road routing changes. You can always follow the brown tourist signs as you get to Swadlincote.

Food will be available on the night until 9.00pm and range from lights bites to bar meals. Vegetarian dishes are also
available.

Children are welcome in the Ski Centre so there is no reason not to attend due to a lack of babysitters.

We will have the room from 6.30pm, although Mrs. Grizzly’s Brownies will also be using the venue until 7.15pm
