Svake godine u predvečerje 18.studenoga, dana kad je Vukovar pao, duž Vukovarske ulice ljudi pale lampione i svijeće u spomen na hrabre ljude u gradu koji se iako opkoljen mjesecima opirao. Osjećaji tih dana posebni su i dodatno pojačani prizorom tisuća lampiona.

Every year on the evening of the Vukovar fall (18th of November), people light candles along the Vukovarska streets in memory of the brave people in the city that although besieged for months resisted. Feelings these days are special and additional enhanced by the thousands of candles.
If you will have a chance, light a candle yourself and reflect those special days.
