Mui Wo Promenade Traditional Cache

This is an easily accessible cache near Mui Wo beach. 

Mui Wo has been undergoing a facelift. Watching the vision of the Planning Department for the redevelopment of Mui Wo shows that either they have a great imagination or there is a long way yet to go. Watch vision 1 and vision 2 (complete with elevator music) if you wish to see what the future holds. If you haven’t been to Mui Wo before, don’t count on these recreations to guide you, although the biking trail in the second video looks great. 

One of the completed projects is the wide footpath along the beachfront which also connects Mui Wo to Discovery Bay via hiking trails. One of the best rewards for hiking from Discovery Bay to Mui Wo is stopping along the beach for a piece of apple crumble at the well-known weekend eatery that is metres from the cache. If hiking isn't your thing then come and find it when enjoying a relaxing day at the beach. 

This cache is a small round lock box which is big enough to contain small trackables and tradeables.  

The GZ is wheelchair accessible but retrieving the cache is not possible from a wheelchair, assistance required.

Three different sessions on taking coordinates came up with wildly different numbers. I’ve taken an average  but feedback is welcome on corrections.
