Geocache Description:

This a short "Path To Nowhere" mini-series. I'm always puzzled how footpaths that don't actual lead anywhere manage to survive. Here's such a path that runs alongside Hanging Wood and presumably once connected through to Hunsworth Woods before the motorway cut off the way through. This is a 2 mile walk (there and back again). The ground can be muddy so wear boots. Please be aware of any livestock in the fields. The footpath is not well marked so OS Maps might help.

The cache is located at a footbridge over Hunsworth Beck, not too far from a Yorkshire Water building. You are looking for a blue bison tube. Please try and replace as found.

Please note the waypoints for suggested parking and for a gate to the footpath. The gate has a rope - please make sure this is closed after you go through.
