Please loiter around the Carlisle Bandstand at about 17.55pm clutching jingle or other bells, some festive head apparel and any other tinselly adornments you’d like to wear. At 18.00pm, adorned in our finery, we’ll sing a couple of verses of Jingle Bells, ringing our hand-bells loudly, before signing the log and posing for a group photo to celebrate the great date. Home-made mince pies and flasks of warm punch will be available to soothe the vocal cords after our performance.
