Easy to find, in the most obvious place where an ammo can must be hidden.
This is a small ammo can, painted gray, and hidden off the trail by about 20-feet near a clearing at the top of the hill. Although it's not covered by anything, you will need to know that there something there in order to see it. I tried to make it easy to find to get lots of traffic with this one.
This geocache was constructed by the White Wolf Patrol group of the Hungarian Scout Troop, who meet locally in Portola Valley. This is one of the two older scout patrol in our troop, there is a second geocache in the greater area as well. The trinkets were constructed by the scouts in this patrol, please take a trinket and leave a trinket, feel free to move them to various other geocahes in the area. In addition to the trinkets, we placed a decoder strip on the inside of the lid. This script in an ancient writing used by soldiers several centuries ago to communicate between camps. It's taught for fun to the scouts, so they appreciate the long history of their heritage.
