EVERGREEN BARN

There was a large barn with three cupolas on the property. It was built around 1911 and razed in the mid '70s. The smaller double-hipped carriage house still stands, now used as a float barn for the Irrigation Festival. The top part of the barn has a solid wood floor, built so the children of the family would have a safe and weather-proof place to roller skate. The original owner was Dr. David Thompson, then later his son Dave Jr. Evergreen Barn
