Geocache Description:


Discount Parking in Ann Arbor?  Yes – it’s true.
 
While Ann Arborites like to complain about parking, there are actually many parking options available downtown, particularly if you are willing to walk a couple of blocks.  You can choose between parking structures, surface lots and metered on street parking (where it feels like you've won the lottery if you can find a spot in front of your destination).
 
One of the lesser known options is the discount meters on some of the streets peripheral to the downtown area.  Not only is parking at these meters half the price of the regular meters, but they have 10 hour time limits, as opposed to the 2 hour limits at other locations. 
 
This cache is located in one of the discount parking areas that is just one block off Main Street.  For a complete list of parking options in Ann Arbor, see this page.
