Geocache Description:

Large enough container for swak and trackables.  Wrapped in black tape.  You will be able to pull off on the road safely.  Should be able to do this one fairly quickly.

Look off in the distance towards the north to see the interesting geological formations, known as Tepee Buttes.  The limestone hills were once reefs at the bottom of the warm, shallow sea that covered most of eastern Colorado.  The conical mounds arer packed with cretaceous fossils such as clams, baculites, snails, and worms.

Down the road is a old cemetery that has been the resting place for some of the earliest settlers of the area since 1886.

This is part of my Fountain Co history series.  Number 2. Hartsdale First to Find. Great Job and Thank You.
