Jetson4: This was one of my favorite places to walk and enjoy the trail along the Kyll, but flooding has taken the bridge and everything with it. With great sadness I need to archive this until the authorities decide to build another bridge, at which point it will really need a cache on it. Cache on!

Geocache Description:

A beautiful bridge over the Kyll River between Bitburg and Metterich. Visited this spot several times and could not believe there was no cache here, had to fix that after enjoying the view. Easy hike but stairs can be very slippery so be careful! And please do not drop the container into the river.
