When I recently arrived at this rest area, I was anxious for my husband to find the clever cache that used to be here. But lo and behold, it was disabled and I was so disappointed. Hopefully the old cache will be enabled again sometime in the future because the container was just the best.
However, since I hate for there to be a rest area without a cache (to give weary travelers a chance to stretch their legs), we grabbed a container from our cache stash and filled it with toy cars. We figured cars were appropriate for a rest area cache, right?
You are looking for a camo-painted peanut butter jar. It's off into the picnic area and tucked out of the way, so it shouldn't be disturbed by muggles. In the late fall and winter, this cache shouldn't be too hard to find since the vegetation is dead or dormant. In the spring and summer, you may have to weave around some briars and bushes.
CONGRATULATIONS to BRAXTON_WV on the FTF!
