QUICK NOTE: This cache will require some extra activity. Align on the EDGE, not on the front.
This cache is located at one of my favorite places. This store has been locally owned and operated since 1976. Inside you could meet the owner Dave or his son Chris working the counter. True to the old school charm, you will likely find lots of locals just hanging out swapping stories, some of which may even be true! The phone number is (304)372-8212, just in case you ever need it. You do not need to go inside or call to get this cache. You will want to park in the “empty” lot between the parts store and auto glass repair. Head down the left side of the store.
The cache was placed with permission of the parts store and is on that property. Use your geosense first. The coords were verified using google maps, pop them in there for a satellite view if you need some help. The building may cause poor reception at GZ. Please be respectful with your search as there is no need to damage anything to get this cache. It is NOT on the A/C unit so don't bother looking there. The owners of the parts store are not cachers but are aware of the cache. It has been placed with thier permission.
The cache is fairly large and should be secure from muggles so it would be a good place to move TB's. Please reset so the next finder can have the same fun trying to get to the prize. It was well stocked during hiding, stuffed full of some decent swag. I ask that you please TRADE EVENLY. I personally am not a trader but those who clean out the swag without trading fairly ruin it for the folks that do like to trade. It is very frustrating as a CO to see a $15 item traded for a plastic army man. Play nice so everyone can have fun.
11-14-2014: the cache location was moved.
6/30/2018: moved again. The temporary campers created a need to relocate the cache once again. You will be more out in the open than previously and unfortunately will probably be easier to spot.
7/3/2023: moved back to the previous (2nd) location. The campers are gone and this spot provides better cover from prying eyes. I never did like how the last spot had you out in the wide open. It actually caused so much trouble with damage to the cache, I suspect from muggles wanting to see what was going on. The cache is currently broken but accessible. I will need to purchase some new items to repair.
