Park in the side street and walk down the road to the beach. This is an easy walk out on a flat, sandy beach and the kids will have fun. Some sort of footware would be advisable to get to GZ, as those barnacles and oysters are sharp!
Please do not cross over private property (you will see what I mean when you get there if you try this at high tide).
If you attempt to do this cache when the tide is in, you will need to get your feet wet as you will have wade around the huge Macrocarpa tree that is lying out into the tide. It should be no deeper than mid thigh though. I just waited until an hour after full tide and got through no problems and with dry feet.
This cache is best attempted when the tide is out. Yes, GZ is out there, cache is attached above high tide level and entry point in is obvious - there is no need to damage the tree to get close.
