Art? Wherefore Art Thou? (Rotorua) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

GenCuster: 21/02/19 Every time I drive past this cache I cringe. It’s my worst one and now totally pointless, as the art Installation was removed a couple of years after I placed the cache. Which was the only point of the cache... However, it’s had 220 finds and people like it. As a number. I don’t do numbers, per se, so can’t see the point in owning a cache that I would normally just drive on by... Which is why my numbers are lower than many other cachers of similar experience.

So that was a nice wee ramble to myself, as I’m probably the only person who will read this... c'est la vie

Thanks for finding my caches.
Cheers, GC

Geocache Description:

There is often used to be a work of 'Art' over the fence. It changes changed, mysteriously. Sometimes, there's nothing. Other times, there's something. Now? Nothing... but a cache!

I suspect the 'Art' may come came from a Pukuatua St gallery... But like the 3 monkeys, I know nuffin'... But am always on the level.

Personally, I'd include I would've included a photo of the 'Art', or describe it in the relevant online log. The best place to park is at the beginning of the Armco barrier, heading North. Why? Oh, I don't know... Pick a reason, any reason... May be a cache, may not... May be a work of 'Art' , maybe now, probably not...

Enjoy...

2014 Update... There has been no 'art' here for many months - nearly as long as the cache has been place in fact. I'm tempted to remove the cache as I think it's now pointless, but cacher's still like 'the numbers'. What do you think? Keep? Or Archive?
