Geocache Description:

Leivonmäen moderni kirkko ja palanen sen historiaa.

Leivonmäen kirkko, Pyhän Kolminaisuuden kirkko, valmistui vuonna 1960 vuonna 1958 palaneen kirkon paikalle. Kirkko vihittiin käyttöön 18.6.1960. Kirkon on suunnitellut arkkitehti Erkko Virkkunen.

Istumapaikkoja kirkossa on noin 300. Alttariseinällä on kookas puuristi. Kirkossa on Kangasalan urkutehtaan valmistamat 12-äänikertaiset urut.

Mikro-kokoinen kätkö sijaitsee hautausmaa-alueen ulkopuolella, mutta otathan huomioon muut siellä kävijät. Ilmaista parkkitilaa on runsaasti.


The church of Leivonmäki, the church of holy Trinity, was completed in1960 to replace the previous church which was destroyed in a fire in 1958. The new church was designed by architect Erkko Virkkunen.

Microcache located outside of the cemetery borders, please mind you of other visitors. There's plenty of free parking space near the cache.
