Geocache Description:

The purpose of this series is more than simple “hide & seek”.  Creating opportunities to challenge the Geocacher to consider ways they can improve conditions of health, education, understanding & awareness.

Exercise is as easy as a walk in the park!  Before you know it you’ve not only logged a cache, but up to a mile or more of exercise while enjoying this great trail.

Bring someone along for a walk …your kids, your friends, your spouse or your dog. Get fit, get outdoors - the fresh air and an invigorating or relaxing walk will do you wonders. Start the day off right or let go of stresses at the end of your day; either way, the benefits are plentiful! Tule Creek Hike/Bike trail, a wonderful new addition to our area!

Parking @ trail head by WalMart or you could park @ Memorial Park and walk to the Enterprise entrance by Whistlers Cove. Yes, you've got to get out of the car for this one!

Please keep the Geocacher’s reputation clean, be respectful and always remember to practice CITO (Cache In, Trash Out).  Together, we can make a difference!  This cache is placed w/permission.

Camouflaged coffee can.  Bring your travel bugs and geocoins. Use the deer trail just off the walkway, no bushwacking.

Congrats to FTF lozano12_20 with amontgomery0108!

Walking is a gentle, low-impact exercise that can ease you into a higher level of fitness and health. Walking is a form of exercise accessible to just about everybody. It's safe, simple and doesn't require practice. And the health benefits are many.
Benefits of walking:
  • Lower low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol (the "bad" cholesterol)
  • Raise high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol (the "good" cholesterol)
  • Lower your blood pressure
  • Reduce your risk of or manage type 2 diabetes
  • Manage your weight
  • Improve your mood
  • Stay strong and fit
All it takes to reap these benefits is a routine of brisk walking. It doesn't get much simpler than that. Research shows that regular, brisk walking can reduce the risk of heart attack by the same amount as more vigorous exercise, such as jogging.   (-Mayo Clinic)
