Steeves Memorial Scouts #15: Survival Camp Traditional Cache

Whenever the Steeves Memorial Scouts go on an outing, we try to hide a cache. This is the 15th cache in an ongoing series.

Every fall, the Scouts go on a Wilderness Survival Camp. We simulate that they have gotten lost in the woods and have to survive the night. They need to make a shelter for themselves using only twine and whatever they can scrounge in the woods. We invite volunteers from a local search and rescue organization to go "look" for them and they need to help ensure they get rescued.


The property we like to use for this adventure is the Salisbury Bicentennial Camp (formerly the Salisbury Bicentennial Scout Camp). This cache is hidden on the camp property with permission from camp management. You are looking for a small spice jar. Happy caching.
