Geocache Description:

You are looking for small lock & lock hidden near the paved trail. The cache cover is placed in plain sight.

E- Hiking/Biking ICC Trail, Georgia Trail

Maryland really failed in building a hiking/biking trail when they built the ICC. It doesn’t connect to other parts of the trail or really go anywhere interesting. Maryland Route 200 ICC See (visit link) for more information on the ICC.

Note this cache is not accessible from the ICC. The nearest exit to this trail is Exit 8, MD 97 (Georgia Avenue) – Olney, Wheaton. There are two trail heads one on Georgia and the other at Norbeck & Wintergate. There is a park/ride parking lot on Georgia. The cross walk across Georgia is all the way up by Emory. (Another fail of this trail.). On the Norbeck side a new park is being built. Once built should have lots of parking. Currently people are parking on a gravel pull out near this trailhead or beside the street.

You are looking for small lock & lock hidden near the paved trail. The cache cover is placed in plain sight. This area of the trail is pretty exposed. I tried to place it in a place with a little cover. Please bring your own pen. Coordinates were taken by a Garmin Montana with an external antennae using long term averaging.

This is part of a series of caches placed along the ICC trails. I have attempted to mix up the difficulty, hide types and containers along the trail to make it interesting.
You will need to bring a pen, since some of the caches don’t have room for pens. For some caches an extractor tool will be helpful.

This is a new trail and does not have a lot of cover. It can get busy with muggles. In many cases the trail is visible from the highway. Please minimize your impact on the new landscaping.
