Before we started Geocaching, we didn’t spend too much time at what used to be Fort Ord. Now that we’ve explored the area a bit, looking for ammo cans, mayo jars, and pill bottles, it’s turned into one of our favorite places to poke around.
These old buildings waiting for rehab are pretty hard to love, but there are a couple of beautiful cypress trees here that deserve to be appreciated. The works of man come and go, but hopefully the trees will persevere.
This should be an easy park n’ grab. You’re looking for a camoed marshmallow fluff jar that gave its all for some spectacular Christmas fudge.
