Geocache Description:


Matney Park is a charming little park located in Kansas City, Kansas.
It was developed in 1980 for the Maple Hill Neighborhood on land acquired from Lewis and Ethel Matney.
The site lites along the old road between Kansas City and the Shawnee Indian Lands.
It is a well-used park, so stealth is required.
If you can't use stealth, be prepared to have a good alibi for curious onlookers.


This is becoming one of my favorite types of hiding spot.
Best leave your fear of heights at home...and for this one, choose a day that isn't terribly windy.
