Geocache Description:

This is a medium sized cache located on a beautiful tree lined Avenue in Coral Gables accessible by car, bike or foot. The free Coral Gables Trolley is located at the end of the block on Ponce de Leon Blvd.

Bursera simaruba, commonly known as Gumbo-limbo, is also called the Tourist Tree because of its red peeling bark. Near the Cache you will see a little yellow house built in 1929 and designed by Marion Manley (one of the first female Architects registered in the State of Florida).
Parking is available within feet of the cache if traveling by car. The free Coral Gables Trolley stops at the end of the block for travel by foot. The area is family and pet friendly, although you will most likely encounter Muggles.
Enjoy the tree lined Avenue and historic homes while on your search.
The cache was inspired by a Girl Scout earning her Geocaching badge.
The cache is located on public property.
