Flekkerøy kirke


Flekkerøy kirke, arbeidskirke bygget i 1960 i betong. Tegnet av Arkitekt Tallaksens arkitetkskontor. Påbygg 1970, ark. Sven Tallaksen. Kirken har 375 sitteplasser inkl. galleri. I Kristiansand har Flekkerøy kirke størst kirkesøkning til søn- og helligdagsgudstjenester sammenholdt med folketallet. I 2011 har det vært avholdt 47 gudstjenester på søn og helligdager. På hver gudstjeneste var det gjennomsnittlig 278 personer tilstede.

Bystyret vedtok i 2009 å bygge ut kirken, men planene er omarbeidet fordi kostnadene ved en ombygging ble for store. Et nytt prosjekt er under utarbeiding.

Korrigerte planer tar utgangspunkt i ombygging av nåværende kirke til menighetsformål og bygge ny kirkesal i tilknytning. Totalkostnaden er kalkulert til 60 mill kr i 2010 priser. Det forutsettes at fellesrådet og menigheten deltar i finansieringen, slik at kommunens bidrag inkludert tidligere bevilgninger beløper seg til om lag 51 mill kr. Kommunen har vedtatt i handlingsprogrammet en avsetning på 8 mill kr i 2014 og 10 mill kr i 2015. Det gjenstår 10,150 mill kr fra tidligere bevilgning. Det legges opp til at fellesrådet avsetter 0,5 mill kr hvert år fra 2012, mens menigheten avsetter 0,55 mill kr årlig fra 2011 (2010-priser). Restfinansieringen vurderes på nytt ved rullering av kommunens handlingsprogram for 2013-2016.

Flekkerøy Church

In Kristiansand Flekkerøy Church largest churches rise to Sunday and public holiday services, together with the population. In 2011 it has been held 47 worship services on Sundays and holidays. At every worship service was average 278 people present.

The City Council decided in 2009 to build the church, but plans have been revised because the cost of the reconstruction was too big. A new project is under preparation.

Revised plans are based on the modification of the existing church to church purposes and build a new chapel in the association. Total cost is calculated to 60 million in 2010 prices. It is assumed that the common council and the congregation participates in the financing, so that municipal contributions including former grants amounting to about 51 million. The municipality has adopted the action a provision of 8 million in 2014 and 10 million in 2015. The remaining 10.150 million from the previous grant. It is anticipated that the Joint Council allocates 0.5 million each year from 2012, while the church sets aside 0.55 million annually by 2011 (2010 prices). Rest Funding reviewed by the council's action plan for 2013-2016.
