Till höger syns gamla varvet och hamnen där den nybyggda briggen Gerda en gång låg innan föreningen gick i konkurs och skeppet såldes utomlands. Också ett fint område att vandra i om du gillar ruiner och skrot. Ännu något till höger ligger gasklockorna, numera evenemangslokaler, t.ex. för konserter och teater. Till vänster kan du ibland se godståget som går till den moderna hamnen Fredriksskans, där dess oljecisterner kan skymtas om du ser mot havet rakt framåt. Bakom spåret ligger Testeboåns naturreservat vid Avan. Och där finns också cacher att leta reda på.
Om du vänder dig runt och ser mot staden så har du några fina kranar längs kajen till höger. Om du inte kom därifrån, ta gärna en titt på dem. Om du följer kajen på vänstersidan finns det fullt med saker som ligger och skräpar, och lite graffiti lite här och där.

Enjoy the worn industrial landscape
To the right is the old shipyard and harbor where the newly-built brig Gerda once stood before the association went bankrupt and the ship was sold abroad. Also a nice area to walk in, if you like ruins and debris. Even some on the right are gasometers, now event halls, such as for concerts and theater. To the left, you can sometimes see the freight train that goes to the modern port Fredriksskans, where its oil storage tanks can be glimpsed if you look towards the sea straight ahead. Behind the track is Testeboåns Nature Reserve at Avan. And there are also caches to seek out.
If you turn around and look towards the city, you have some nice cranes along the quay to the right. If you did not came from there, take a look at them. If you follow the quay on the left side there are full of things that are lying around, and a little graffiti here and there.
