Geocache Description:

We are Marshall
Thundering Herd
Memorial at Spring Hill Cemetery in Huntington, WV to the victims of the 1970 plane crash.

This cache is located not far from the Memorial Honoring those who died in the Marshall Plane crash.
The Marshall Memorial honors the University football team, coaches, staff and supporters who died in the November, 1970 plane crash.
In front of the obelisk are six unmarked graves, in memory of the victims that could not be identified.
The names of these six are engraved in the front face of the memorial, and on a marker as seen in the picture below.



I wanted to put the cache closer to the memorial but there is another cache over there, so look for it too. 
Take time to visit the memorial and pay respects to those young men resting there today.
