Geocache Description:


Come celebrate the ringing in of the new year with us!!

The event will start at 11:45 P.M.

This isn't a Flash Mob but a "Lingering Mob" so we will stay until the last firework explodes!


View of Downtown Jacksonville from the Ortega Bridge during the day.
Watching the Jacksonville fireworks display from the Ortega bridge is a New Year's tradition for us and  the folks in the area. But the secret has gotten out and now people come from all around to view the fireworks from this location.

Parking is available at the nearby park but fills up fast. So you may want to come early or park at the  parking coords posted below which is only a short walk to the bridge.
Here is the itinerary for the event

11:45 - Gather at posted coords
11:46 - 12:00 - Geo chat, sign log, take group picture ect....
12:00 - ??? Watch the fireworks display and take pictures!!!
