A quick roadside cache to get the gps skills flowing for when you get to the top of the mountain and take on the Kaapsehoop caches. Plenty of parking next to the road but this is a muggle motorist prone area so keep the camera handy as a nifty distraction!
I've found that we all need to stop at times and take a look around us to see things from a different angle. This cache is placed in just such a spot. Looking out over the valley from this cache gives you a more unique view which is normally not seen if you stay in your vehicle and rush past. At dusk the view over the valley is exceptionally beautiful.
During October you will be able to see some wild Gerbras (baberton daisies) as well as many other veld flowers in full bloom, so take a minute or two and enjoy what the veld has to offer!
