Histoire :
A la fin du IIIème siècle, en raison des invasions, Vésunna (la capitale gallo-romaine des Pétrocores), pour se protéger, s'entoure d'une muraille (qui s'appuie sur l'amphithéâtre) comprenant 22 tours et 3 portes romanes (porte normande porte de Mars et porte Romaine).
Malheureusement, la porte romaine n'existe plus. Elle se trouvait au niveau de la rue actuelle. Toutefois, il reste encore quelques vestiges des remparts qui s'appuyaient contre elle.
History
At the end of the third century, due to invasions, Vésunna (the Gallo-Roman capital of Pétrocores), to protect themselves, is surrounded by a wall (which is based on the amphitheater) with 22 towers and 3 gates Romanesque (Norman door, door to door in March and Romaine).
Unfortunately, the Roman gate no longer exists. She was at the current street. However, there are still some remains of the walls that leaned against it.
