Colico in provincia di Lecco è l’ultimo paese sul vertice estremo del lago di Como, è una interessante località turistica che per la presenza costante di venti attrae appassionati di vela, skisurf e windsurf da mezza Europa.
I primi Km del percorso si snodano a ridosso prima della collina che ospita il Forte di Montecchio, unico esempio di fortificazioni della 1° guerra mondiale rimaste pressoché intatte, lambendo poi la collina con i resti del Forte di Fuentes, costruito all’inizio del 1600 dagli spagnoli a protezione del Ducato di Milano. Dopo essere entrati in Valtellina, pedalato a fianco del fiume Adda ed in alcuni tratti di aperta campagna, si raggiunge Morbegno, seconda città per importanza della provincia di Sondrio con un centro storico che merita una passeggiata a piedi.

Colico in Lecco Province is the last village on the top end of Como Lake, is an interesting tourist destination that, for the constant presence of winds, attracts yachtsmen, skisurf and windsurfing men from all over Europe.
The first kilometers of the route rises behind before the hill that houses the Fort of Montecchio, the only example of 1st World War fortifications remained almost intact, then skirting the hill with the Forte Fuentes ruins, built in the early 1600s by the Spanish to protect the Ducato of Milano. After entering the Valtellina, pedaled alongside the river Adda and in some parts of the countryside, we reach Morbegno, the second largest city in the Sondrio province with a historic center that is worthy of a walk.
