Geocache Description:

This is a letterbox. The goal is to find the box and trade stamp images - stamp the letterbox's stamp into your journal and leave your signature stamp image in the letterbox's logbook. The coords take you right to the letterbox (use the directions below if you prefer to find it letterboxing style). Letterboxing-style directions:
  • The cache is approximately 500 metres from the parking lot.
  • From the parking lot take the road toward the Chickadee Trail sign, you will be walking south.
  • A river will be on your right and the lynde marsh will be on your left.
  • Turn at the Bird Feeder Trail sign and walk about 25 steps from the trailhead. You will now come to a Y-intersection with a trail just ahead of you going west and one to your left going southwest. Turn and follow the trail going southwest.
  • Follow the chickadee trail and continue walking SSW. As you walk you will see forest to your right and to your left through the trees you'll see the gravel road.
  • When you find the bench "Remembering Bryce Ashlyn Cormier" turn south following the trail until you reach the stand of green Pine trees.
  • Walk west along the north row of pine trees until the end of the last pine .
  • Turn north, walk 6 feet to the yellow larch tree. The letterbox is hidden under the larch.
  • Replace the LB and be sure to cover it up.

I have place a small snowman stamp in the letterbox. Bring your own ink (Crayola washable markers make great ink tools if you don't have an ink pad). If you carry a letterbox "passport"/journal, use the letterbox's stamp to stamp your passport. If you have a signature stamp, please stamp the log book. If you do not have a stamp, leave a drawing (stick figure drawings and happy faces would be just fine you do not have to be a Picasso or a Da Vinci), or a sticker or a fingerprint or pawprint, or try a nature print using a leaf or flower as a nature stamp, and sign the log. Stamps are cheap at craft stores and scrapbooking stores or make your own with an eraser and an exacto knife. Join the fun!

Please, don't take the snowman stamp!
