Geocache Description:

There have been numerous caches here over the years and the security guards didn't seem any too happy to have folks snooping around. So, I talked to the fella at the information desk, Mr Kensey Davis, and sold him on the idea. He even talked to the guard on duty to let him know what was up. Hopefully they spread the good word to other guards and employees and the cachers don't get run off again. I did the hide at the rear of the rest area, in hopes not to draw too much attention.

Jay Hanna "Dizzy" Dean was a famous baseball player from the 1930's and 40's. After he retired from baseball, he was a baseball sports broadcaster in the 1940's and 50's. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1953. The St Louis Cardinals retired his number (17) in 1974.
