The cache is not at the supplied coordinates which are for the north entrance of the park.
To find the cache you will have to first find the west and the south-east entrances of the park as well. The cache is located 100 ft directly north of the location where you will find the south-east, west and north entrances at bearings of 134, 258 and 292 degrees, respectively. All bearings are with respect to true north. Remember to consider declination if you are measuring with respect to magnetic north.
This is a replacement of my previous cache "Soccer Goats GC24Z90" which somehow disappeared overnight. The rumour is that it was consumed by one of the soccer goats which roam the soccer field from time to time.
While placing the original cache, 10 goats, escaped from some neighbor farm, were gracing the green grass. They were very friendly and kept coming up nudging me, wondering what I was up to. Or maybe they were just looking for the 11th player on their soccer team? I had not seen them since I placed the original cache until today when I returned contemplating placing another cache. To my suprise they were here again. I took it as a sign to replace Soccer Goats.
Maple Valley Heights Park covers 13 acres with a baseball field, a soccer field and two tennis courts. Closes at dusk.
The cache is a small, camoed bison tube. Muggles may be a problem in the summer months during the soccer season. Set difficulty to 3 due to the camo and the puzzle.
