Geocache Description:

This cache is placed in memory of our beloved Beaverdog. She was sure she was Queen of Harold Parker State Forest. Shadow spent many tail-wagging times on the trails here. She earned her name because of her habit of gnawing bits off a stick until it was just the way she liked it.

The cache overlooks a pond where Beaverdog loved to swim. One day, as she was swimming, three beavers, swimming abreast, came towards her. We don't know what would have
happened because we didn't stay to find out!

The cache is filled with some of her bandanas from her extensive collection (think "Barbie Dog") and a few other doggie items. Please take one for your favorite pooch. There is no need to trade as we would like to keep to the theme of the cache. You are welcome to leave another bandana or small doggie item if you wish. NO TREATS, PLEASE!!!

FIRST TO FIND - Look for an additional baggie if it is something your pooch can use.

Park at the ranger station. After you turn from the fire road onto the trail just BEFORE NA16, for the shorter, easier walk, stay left (straight) on the trail. If you want a longer walk after finding the cache, keep going to another fire road, turn right, go past the pond, and turn right back into the woods. This part of the trail is a bit more strenuous (but not unpleasant) and will return you to where you started.

Congratulations to Froedo and the Clan for FTF!
