Geocache Description:

A micro cache, in a nice little part of Far North Queensland.

This is a small cache, with room only for a log, so please bring your own writing utensil to make your mark.
Cache is located at what has to be the smallest Bank in Australia. The building was built in the late 1930's by McRobie Brothers, and was originally situated at silkwood east.
The NAB operated this bank every tuesday from 10am-11am until its closing on 17th August 1999.

A great spot to see some of the history of the local area, with signage boards about outling local history.

So if your looking to learn a little and have some fun, drop by this cache. You may also want to do a few others in the area, on the road from silkwood to South Johnstone, a picturesque drive.

Please replace the cache from where you reterieved it, so that others may enjoy it as well.... Cheers Hot_Wheelz
