Geocache Description:

This cache is dedicated to our special geocaching friend Cluehunter. Thanks for all of the fun hides and good times, Ben!

Stage one is at the posted coordinates, and when you solve the puzzle there, you'll have the coordinates for the final.

I have been studying the science of all things celestial for many years, and some now consider me an expert in the field of... uh... astronomy, or astrology. I can never remember the difference. In any event, I have once again decided to share a bit of my vast store of knowledge with the local geocaching community.

Here's a little basic information about sunspots:

Sunspots are temporary phenomena on the photosphere of the Sun that appear visibly as dark spots compared to surrounding regions. They are caused by intense magnetic activity, which inhibits convection by an effect comparable to the eddy current brake, forming areas of reduced surface temperature. Basically, it's like sun acne.

So much for the basics! This field puzzle will allow you to closely examine the fascinating phenomenon of sunspots, and when you've completed this exercise, you will be able to locate the second and final stage of this scientifical type cache.  At the same time, you will have created your very own sunspot. In the end, we think you'll agree that only GOJAC would ever give you this incredible opportunity.

You're welcome.
