Geocache Description:


"Yagiri no Watashi" is a ferry service established in Edo era
and still in operation. Yes! you can ride on Sat,Sun,holidays and
Koshin days (*). This service is very famous because of Enka-song and Movie.
The cache is hidden in the way to "Yagiri no Watashi" wharf
(*) The day of the fair of Shibamata Taishakuten Koshin.

矢切の渡しは江戸時代初期に幕府が設けた長い歴史を持つ渡し舟で今も土日祝日及び
庚申の日(※）のみ運行されています。都内に残っている渡し船はこの矢切の渡しだけだ
そうです。映画や演歌にもとりあげられているのでご存知の方も多いことでしょう。ここに
来る途中にはこれまた映画でも有名な柴又帝釈天がありますのでご家族で観光にきたついでに
ジオキャッシングしてみてはいかがでしょうか。
キャッシュは矢切の渡しの東京側乗り場に向かう途中に隠されています。
※庚申の日とは柴又帝釈天の縁日です。
