Geocache Description:

This cache was placed in memory of Fred and Marjorie, who were married for 69 years. It's hidden near a sweet little bridge over the Tay River outside of Perth, Ontario in a quiet spot where Fred and Marjorie liked to go and watch the water gurgle by. There is parking by the side of the road a short walk from the cache.

Fred and Marjorie met while fencing and spent the rest of their lives in love. They travelled all over the world and probably would have liked geocaching if it had been around during their spry years. We've filled this cache (a camo'd lock-n-lock) with some meaningful items: a mini-sombrero from one of their trips down south, two little dinosaurs (because they loved paleontology), one of Marjorie's thimbles, some fabric daisies (Marjorie's favourite flower), a couple of cookie cutters (Fred did love his cookies), a shell from a faraway place, a marble and, of course, a logbook, pencil and sharpener.

We averaged a waypoint, so I hope it's not a tough find. Take a sec while you're there to enjoy the views from the bridge and the nearby picnicky area. This cache may be difficult to access in winter due to snow and ice.
