Geocache Description:

This cache has been placed with the kind permission of the RSPB. This is number 11 and the last cache when walking NW along the red trail route at Lake Vrynwy. Alternatively it can be found by parking on the road nearby where the trail ends/starts.

Please note that Mobile Phone coverage is very poor in this area so you are advised to download the required information prior to your visit to allow for access when offline.

The trail to or from the Sparrow Hawk cache is steep and can be dangerous in wet weather.  You are looking for a small clip-lock box.

Swallows are summer visitors with glossy blue-black plumage and a white underbelly with a blue band across their chest. Their throat and forehead on the other hand is a deep red and their dark tail has oval white spots.

Due to the nature of the work undertaken by the RSPB and the forestry commission it may at times become necessary to temporarily disable this cache and we ask that you respect our decision to do this.
